Blended Films is the brainchild of filmmakers, Quanita Adams and Dominique Jossie. That’s us. We’re a television and film production company who celebrate diversity through our focus on authentic storytelling.
Together, our duo boasts a combined 30 years of film industry knowledge and experience, which informs our insights and guides our creative endeavours today.
As women of colour, we aim to challenge stereotypes through the stories we tell. Our style draws on our unique perspective on the quirky nuances of our own communities, while staying grounded in reality and truth to story. Blended Films strives to explore time old story telling traditions in new and authentic ways. As filmmakers and storytellers, we are inspired by the everyday mundane mash-ups. We, all of us, are not one singular thing. We are the sum of many things. Race, tradition, cultural practices, politics, class, gender, religion, orientation, geographies, ideologies … How do you tell THAT story? You blend it. That’s how.
